Monetary donations help nonprofit groups and relief funds provide essentials like clothing, food, housing necessities, and medicine, as well as to establish emergency-relief programs and trauma-care facilities. Consider organizations like ACERO (Assyrian Church of the East Relief Organization) or ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Sponsor a child or giving to help children in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian civil war has had a dire effect on children, ranging from long-term psychological and physical trauma to risk of disease, malnutrition, and exploitation. Child sponsorships can improve their situation by ensuring that they receive medical care, nutritious food, and adequate shelter, among other needs.
